Barnone is a car loan company that is probably best known thanks to the success of the popular sock puppet TV commercials. The company has been around for a number of years now and has built a reputation for itself as a legitimate provider of sub-prime auto financing in the United States.
Unfortunately, the consumer reviews are mixed. The credit guidelines are apparently a little more rigid than they would seem considering the commercials. For example, individuals with bankruptcy are not approved for a car loan pre-approval with Barnone. So if you have filed for bankruptcy and it has not been discharged, look elsewhere for a car loan. Another problem, at the present moment, the site appears to be down! Let’s hope this is a temporary issue.
